Behind the Brand
Kathy, the creative mind behind Merid & Magna, her husband, and a talented team rebuilt two historic school houses into two idyllic farmhouse retreats.
Kathy wanted a brand that stayed true to the history and character of the cherished schools but felt accessible to all. She also wanted an intuitive website that showed all services available and showcased unique offerings of Merid & Magna.
We created a branding experience that inspires guests to feel happiness and calm. The brand identity is joyful, peaceful, and intimate, welcoming guests who want to experience their weekend stays or special events in a reimagined rural setting.

Values to Visuals
We aimed to provide visitors with a unique and intimate experience, evoking feelings of peace and calm.
Photography played a crucial role, offering guests a glimpse into the venue with styled wedding close-ups, neutral textures, and detailed shots of stylized decor.
The logo suite and line-work illustrations balanced feminine attributes of the color palette and photography with traditional and historic typography, resulting in a charming, joyful, and peaceful brand experience.
Brand in Action
We custom-built a Squarespace website. The primary goal was to provide essential accomodation information for visitors wanting to book a stay or reserve the venue for a special event.
The web design boasts ample imagery from the venue, inviting visitors to imagine their future expereince in as much details as possible.
Visitors are directed to enquire throughout the site, and the owner handles each online request making the communication experience more personal, as opposed to fully automating the booking process.
